How to crochet Dream Catchers

Well I have recently learned how to crochet Dream Catchers! I have posted my new project on my Facebook page and got a huge response. Everyone wants one. I found that crocheting them was far more easier because you can change the colors easily, also you don't have to guess how much yarn you will need to wrap the ring or create the web. So here is a simplified way of making them.
First crochet single crochet around the ring in what ever color you choose and finish off.
Then depending on the size of the ring start with a slip stitch and chain 5 - 7, then attach the chain to the ring keeping it snug. Do this around until you get to the beginning but leave a space. Change colors if you want by pulling a slip stich through the last chain loop. Then sc the same amount of stitches but sc into the previous chain. Do this around then for each round drop 1 sc or what ever it takes to keep the web taut otherwise it will look like a basketball hoop. Keep doing this until you are only able to sc 1 into each chain, finish off you can leave a long tail for a center dangler of feathers or an embellishment. There is a tutorial on U Tube showing this method. So hope you enjoy making theses as much as I do. Buy earring size hoops, bracelet bangles to make necklaces or use an old embroidery hoop. Have fun!
